Analytical Procedures for Determining the Impacts of Reliability Mitigation Strategies

Overview

The thrust of the L03 research was the development of methods to predict travel time reliability. The study took a strictly empirical approach to developing these relationships. Two types of models were developed: Predicting Reliability Metrics as a Function of the Mean Travel Time Index and Predicting Reliability as a Function of Casual Factors.
